The following presentations have given by members of the QA
Focus team at peer-reviewed conferences and
workshops and seminars.
EPA Quality System :
EPA sponsors a national conference on managing quality systems for environmental
programs every year. This conference is a national forum for disseminating and
exchanging information on managing the quality of environmental data; discussion
and action on issues of national concern; training; and technical presentations.
The conference is open to all interested members of the environmental community
including representatives from EPA, other Federal Agencies, State, local, and
Tribal governments, academia, and the private sector. There is no charge for
attending the conference or training
The
Accreditation Auditing Practices Group is constituted as an informal group
of accreditation experts, auditors and practitioners, drawn from the ISO Policy
Committee for Conformity Assessment (ISO/CASCO), the ISO Technical
Committee 176 Quality Management and Quality Assurance (ISO/TC 176) and
the International Accreditation Forum (IAF). It was established following the
success of the
ISO 9001 Auditing Practices Group, and following a request from the
IAF's Technical Committee.
